Projects & wizard
Creating, editing and managing projects with the Project Wizard.
- How do I create a new project? From the dashboard choose New Project. The Project Wizard walks you through five short steps and you can save a draft at any time.
- What are the steps in the Project Wizard?Type, goal, audience, style and stack. Every step is optional and editable later; the wizard adapts based on the project type you pick.
- Can I save a wizard as a draft?Yes. Drafts save automatically as you type and persist across sessions and devices. Open Drafts from the dashboard to resume.
- How do I delete an unwanted draft?Open Drafts from the dashboard, hover the draft and choose Delete. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
- How do I rename a project?Open the project, click the title and edit inline. The URL slug updates automatically and old links continue to redirect.
- Can I duplicate a project?Yes. Open the project menu and choose Duplicate. The brief, blueprint and design tokens are copied; AI memory is not.
- How do I archive a project I no longer need?Project menu, Archive. Archived projects are hidden from the dashboard but data and history are kept. Restore from the Archived tab.
- How do I permanently delete a project?Archive it first, then choose Delete forever. We confirm with a typed project name and remove all data within 30 days.
- Can I share a project with a client for review?Yes. Project, Share, Reviewer link generates a read-only URL with an optional password and expiry.
- Which project types are supported?Marketing site, portfolio, blog, internal tool, multi-tenant SaaS, AI app and customer portal. Each type tailors the wizard and blueprint.
- Can I change a project's type after creation? You can, but the blueprint is regenerated. We always ask for confirmation and offer to keep your existing content where possible.
- What is the blueprint in a project?A structured plan with sitemap, page outlines, components, data model and integrations. The AI generates it from your brief and you edit it before any code runs.
- How do I edit the blueprint?Open the project, choose Blueprint, then click any section to edit. The AI re-validates impacted sections so the plan stays consistent.
- Can I regenerate one part of the blueprint?Yes. Hover any blueprint section and choose Regenerate. The rest of the blueprint stays untouched.
- Is there version history for a project?Yes. Every accepted change creates a snapshot. Open History to compare or restore any previous version.
- Can I preview the project before publishing?Yes. Every project has an internal preview URL visible only to your workspace and reviewers you invite.
- Can I export the generated code?Yes, on Builder and higher plans. Export produces a clean Git-ready repository with documentation.
- Can I import an existing codebase?Limited import is available: we ingest your sitemap and key pages so the AI Coach can reason about them. Full code import is on the roadmap.
- Are there project limits per plan?Yes. Each plan lists its project quota in Settings, Plan. Limits are enforced before a new project is created.
- Can I recover a project I deleted by mistake? If you deleted within the last 14 days, contact support. After 30 days the project is permanently removed from backups.
