Billing & subscriptions
Plans, upgrades, downgrades, refunds and invoices.
- Which plans are available?Starter, Builder, Pro and Enterprise. Each tier raises seats, AI usage and project quotas. See the Pricing page for the live numbers.
- How do I change my plan?Settings, Plan, Change plan. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- How do I cancel my subscription?Settings, Plan, Cancel. Your workspace stays active until the end of the billing period. After that we keep your data for 30 days in case you return.
- What is the refund policy?Annual plans can be refunded pro-rata within 30 days of purchase. Monthly plans are not refundable but you can cancel any time.
- Which payment methods are accepted?Major credit cards, SEPA direct debit and bank transfer for annual plans. Enterprise plans can be invoiced in EUR or USD.
- Where do I download invoices and receipts?Settings, Billing, Invoices. Every invoice is a PDF with VAT correctly applied per your billing country.
- Is VAT applied correctly to my invoice?Yes. We use your billing country and VAT number (when provided) to apply VAT correctly under the EU OSS scheme.
- How do I change the billing email?Settings, Billing, Contacts. Invoices go to every email listed there. Adding a finance team alias is recommended.
- Annual vs monthly — what's the difference?Annual plans are billed once a year at a 20% discount. Monthly plans are charged each calendar month and can be cancelled any time.
- What happens if my payment fails?We retry the card for 14 days and notify you by email and an in-app banner. After grace, the workspace switches to read-only until payment succeeds.
- Will a downgrade delete my data?No. Downgrades can hide features but never delete content. Continuity is enforced by the Subscription Continuity Engine.
- How does seat pricing work?Each plan includes a fixed number of seats. Additional seats are billed pro-rata for the current period and renew with the plan.
- Is a free trial available?Yes. The Starter plan is free indefinitely with limited usage. Builder and Pro include a 14-day full-feature trial that does not require a card.
- Can I change the billing currency?Yes, before the first invoice of a new term. Supported currencies are EUR, USD, GBP and SEK. Contact billing support to change after that.
- How do I apply a discount code?Settings, Plan, Promo code. Codes apply to the next renewal and stack with annual pricing.
- Is there a discount for partners or non-profits?Yes. Registered non-profits and educational institutions can apply for a 50% discount. Contact partnerships@blancas-it.com with proof of status.
- How far back is billing history kept?Indefinitely. Every invoice issued to your workspace is available in Settings, Billing, Invoices.
- How do I add or change my VAT number?Settings, Billing, Tax information. The number is validated against VIES before being saved.
- How are AI usage overages charged?Overages are billed monthly at the rate listed on the Pricing page. You can set a hard cap in Settings, AI, Limits to prevent surprises.
- How do I contact billing?Email billing@blancas-it.com or open a billing ticket from Settings, Billing, Help. Responses are within one business day.
