How to write a great project brief

Name the goal
Start with one sentence that says what the project must do for whom, e.g. "Let independent dentists publish a booking-ready site in under an hour".
Describe the audience
Describe who will actually use the site. Real audiences have constraints (language, devices, accessibility needs) that change the output.
Pick a tone
Choose three adjectives for the voice — for example calm, expert, optimistic. The AI uses these to guide copy and visual decisions.
List the must-haves
List the features that must exist on day one. The builder will treat everything else as optional.
Show examples
If you have reference sites, paste their URLs. The AI uses them as inspiration, not as a template to copy verbatim.
